In Greece, ERT (Elliniki Radiofonia-Tileorasi - Hellenic Radio & Television) operates two shortwave radio stations, broadcasting to listeners around the world.  These are ERA 5 - The Voice of Greece (based in Athens) and ERT 3 - Trito ProgrMWma (based in Thessaloniki).

In Cyprus, RIK (Radiofoniko Idryma Kyprou - Cyprus Broadcasting Company) operates one short wave service, the CyBC International ProgrMWme.

Finally, several foreign shortwave stations also broadcast in Greek and have broadcasts targeted to Greece and Cyprus.
